Monday Night Intercession
Mondays, 7:00 pm in the sanctuary at the church
Led by the Holy Spirit
We gather together to intercede for our congregation, community, nation, for worldwide missions. We share and pray for all kinds of prayer requests we receive through the week. While some prefer to pray quietly in their “prayer tent”, some of us will join to loudly agree in the prayer. Whatever your prayer style – you are welcome to join the intercessors’ group.
It’s our desire to put all the passion into prayer, to be obedient to how the Spirit leads us and to use the spiritual gifts we’ve been given.
You are also welcome to come if you want us to pray for you – we’ll be honored to do that. We can lay our hands on you and minister to you through the prayer.
Prayer Chain
“Again, I tell you, that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19
Prayer Chain Leader: Gloria Dorf
Can’t make it on Monday nights but desire to pray for others?
Join the prayer chain. Intercessory prayer is a powerful ministry – regardless your situation or physical limitations. Paul was in prison, chained to a Roman centurion 24/7. Yet he prayed. He interceded for all the churches, all the missionaries and Christians all over the world.
How does it work?
When we receive any time-sensitive prayer request – we act.
One person passes the prayer need to another – and whenever possible they pray in agreement on the phone. For those with busy work schedules we pass the prayer needs via e-mail.
How to submit prayer requests?
- Put in a note in the “Prayer requests” box in the church foyer
- E-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
- Contact Gloria Dorf (telephone number in the church directory)
- You may also call the church office
Don’t forget to submit praise reports to us, too – build us up with the testimony of answered prayers!
